Coaching - Mediation - Coach Mentorship - Webinars

“For the first time in my life I am devoting time to becoming more intentional around my career and giving it the time it deserves.”

— Susan O.

“Not at all what I thought coaching would be…in the best way. It’s been so powerful.”

— Kim M.

Coaching

I am trained as an ontological coach. This means that I focus on how you are being more than on what you are doing. In short, as a Career & Retirement Coach clients often hire me to sort through what they will do to navigate these transitions. Together we go to a deeper place, looking at how you consistently “show up” and examine the lens through which you view the world, your way of being. The doing is addressed and goals are achieved, but from the inside out.  The beauty is that this transformation of being impacts all aspects of our lives well beyond the scope of work or retirement. We do this through conversation and select coaching tools; sometimes the simple process of verbalizing our thoughts can be enlightening.  I will reflect your insights back to you, ask the hard questions, listen between your words, and offer my observations. It is a powerful process.

Mediation

I am a Certified Professional and Family Mediator. I often draw upon my mediation skills during couples coaching sessions. I also provide discrete mediations for those wanting to resolve a conflict outside of a coaching agreement. The primary goal of any mediation is for parties to communicate effectively with each other, to actually listen and to be heard. Often this leads to identifying common ground and a mutually defined agreement.

Coach Mentoring

I love coaching coaches and am an Advanced Certified Mentor Coach. The unique blend of pure coaching and coach training taps directly into my background as an educator. I regularly meet individually with coach mentees and also host a monthly group coaching session for any client who is a coach. This dynamic mix of individual and group coaching fosters a richly collaborative environment for reviewing recorded coaching calls, exploring our role as coaches, and truly surrendering to the coaching process as client.

Webinars

I partner with financial advisors to support clients who need a broader conversation to fully benefit from and act upon investment advice. To better understand the role of a Retirement Coach, I facilitate in-house webinars for staff at advisory firms; these webinars carry CE credits from the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards. I also offer cutomized in-house retirement webinars to financial clients. All workshops are experiential and designed to empower participants to define retirement on their own terms and make their dreams a reality.
